Suupaa is a commutable eatery, reimagining the Japanese konbini for Melbourne’s thoroughfares. A junction for its community, it’s a collection of small but deliberate gestures—everyday fare, crafted with a promise of quality, culture and convenience.

We keep most of our space open for walk-ins. Bookings are available for groups of 6 or more, Monday–Friday. No set menus—order what you want, when you want.

Counter Cultures — A Suupaa Dinner Series about life on the shelf, what grows in the quiet, and how good things ferment with time. Four courses, three boozy ferments, a jar of bread miso to take home, and a counter full of living flavour.

Join Dennis Yong and Kayla Saito as they explore the funk and balance of fermentation from bar to counter to kitchen.

Thursdays — 13, 20 & 27 November
